Firstly, we would like to thank all our lovely clients that have been courteous and understanding of our systems over the last few months. Your cooperation has meant that our team has been able to function to the best of our abilities throughout the pandemic, and continue to care for your pets. We are pleased to say we can now serve 2 clients simultaneously at Reception, making your transition through the surgery more efficient.
With regards to the latest government guidance concerning Face Masks, we politely require that you CONTINUE TO WEAR A MASK UNLESS EXEMPT. The reason being that, as things stand currently, in the event of some of our team becoming infected with COVID, those staff members would still need to isolate. Within our small team, this may lead to closure of the practice as we would be unable to staff it safely. With your previous help and understanding we have managed to avoid this through the pandemic and ask that you bear with us just a little longer until the impact of an infection is not so great.
We are continuing to ask you to wait outside until called for your appointment, to minimise social contact both with our staff and other clients. We will also continue with allowing only 1 adult into the Consultation room, unless exceptional circumstances.
We appreciate this change in rules is not ideal, but as our Vets often see in excess of 30 clients each per day, this precaution is to protect ALL of us , and allow us to continue to work safely, and most importantly remain open to serve you and your pets.
Thank you again for your support and patience in these difficult times, it is so much appreciated, and we look forward to welcoming you very soon.
